Meet John & Liz
01 - We met in 2016 while documenting a wedding. John was doing video & Liz was doing photo. We became the best of friends & one year later, John took Liz canoeing and told her that he loved her and was ready to get married. Well, almost two years after that, we married with 40 of our closest friends & family. It was a wildly special day & it made us more aware than ever of how important it is to have your love, life, and people documented.
02 - We love people and experiencing life with others: traveling, bonfires, picnics, and having friends, family & strangers over for dinner. We love the American West; once we’re west of the Rockies, especially on a road trip, we feel right at home.
03 - John is passionate about meaningful conversations, coffee, reading (usually with a book lamp before bed, like an old man), philosophy, and camping. John is someone who draws everyone’s attention to the stars or ocean or beautiful birds in the sky. He notices the beauty surrounding us and lives with child-like wonder.
04 - Liz is passionate about wildflowers, cultivating intentionality, music, light, curry of any kind, and a good cup of chai. She dreams of a million things a day, but a few of her continual dreams would be: living in Europe for a bit, owning a goat farm (I have a goat named Banjo) & writing a book.
